Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Chose from our shop area, after you have finished your selection, click on proceed to checkout and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. You will then be emailed with a secure payment link to pay by card. If we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason or the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first and let you know and to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
We send to the UNITED KINGDOM ONLY. FULL VALID POSTCODES are required for every order. If you provide an incorrect address, including the postcode, we do not accept any responsibility for a failure of an order to arrive. Delivery times are subject to the service provided by Myhermes and more details can be found on their website. During this time we have found them to be the best service provider. If you provide an incorrect address, we do not accept any responsibility for a failure of an order to arrive.
At No 28 The Cookery we endeavour to bake your order the same day if they are received before 10am (Monday to Thursday) and posted the next day, although this is not always possible. Any orders received after 10am MAY be baked the following day. Orders placed over a weekend are not baked until the Monday.
Once your order has been accepted/confirmed and baked, you are no longer be able to cancel the order, or postpone the order. This is because all our cakes are baked to order. Please see ‘The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 in full.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.html If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with any product that you have purchased from us, you may request a refund (in writing or by email) within 7 working days, beginning the day after the day you received the item. We will then inform you how to return the item. Provided it is returned in its original packaging and the product has not been consumed other than is reasonable to establish the quality of the product you are not happy with we will refund the entire purchase price including the cost of postage.If your returned order is damaged, not in the original packaging or consumed more than was reasonable to establish the quality of product, We reserve the right to levy a charge commensurate with that loss.
